There are a number of mysterious stairs in various parts of the world, how they got there and why is quite strange. The reason these stairs are around, still baffles people. A number of tales about these mysterious staircases have surfaced on Reddit and some of them are incredibly creepy. Legend has it that these stairs were and still are used as sacrificial spots and when someone climbs or even touches them, they experience something rather negative, such as missing time or a crippling sense of doom.
Some people even end up dead from mysterious illnesses or end up in fatal accidents.
Apparently, people have had aneurysms from sitting on one of the steps and people have heard cackling and screams as they go past
If that isn't creepy enough, flipped staircases have also been seen in various locations in the middle of nowhere.
