About 30 years ago, a movie company was hired to set up a mobile movie screening in a very peculiar remote Northern Thai village, by the elders. Four men arrived with their equipment. However, they were strictly told by the elders of the village, with no explanation that they had to leave the area by 4am. 

The audience came to the clearing where were set up as soon as the movie started and they all spread out and found a comfortable spot to sit. The screening ended up going way past 4pm and when the four men packed up and ready to leave, they looked around to find that all the paths leading to the village had mysteriously disappeared and they were surrounded by jungle. In a confused creeped out state, they managed to find a few villagers who help them cut through the jungle and on to a road. A few hours later when the men had all calmed down, they checked their payment and it had turned into try crispy leaves.
