The Brown Lady of Raynham Hall. Legend has it that this photo is the ghost of Dorothy Walpole, the sister of the first British Prime Minister, Robert Walpole. She died of smallpox in 1726.


The Amityville Ghost boy

This photo was allegedly taken inside 112 Ocean Avenue, New York (The Amityville house ), in 1976. It has become one of the most infamous ghost photos of all time. It appears to be a young boy with white glowing eyes, peaking out of a doorway. George Lutz, ex tenant of amityville, first showed the photo on the Merv Griffin show, in 1979, three years after it was taken. The image was allegedly captured by Gene Campbell, a professional photographer who was part of the team investigating the property with Paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren, Gene had set up an automatic camera on the second floor. The camera took infrared pictures during the night. Equipped with black and white film, his camera captured the eerie photo. People have speculated that the photo could be that of the John Defeo, who was murdered along with his family in 1974.

On Nov. 13, 1974, the entire Defeo family were murdered in their beds by Ronald DeFeo Jr. The victims were Ronald Jr.'s parents: Ronald DeFeo Sr. (44) and Louise DeFeo, née Brigante (42); and his four siblings: Dawn (18), Allison (13), Marc (12), and John Matthew (9). All of the victims had been shot with a .35 caliber lever action Marlin 336C rifle at round three AM. The property were the murders had taken place is now infamous for being one of the most allegedly haunted houses in America and inspired the book and film, The Amityville Horror.
